At the end of the day, you don't meddle in your mams relationships so do'nt let her meddle in yours. If you really like this guy and he really likes you then there is no point wondering what could have been when you don't go out with him because your mother dosn't approve. In my opinion, you should go 4 it, i am not saying rush into a full blown me style relationship, but defo don't hold back, enjoy yourselfs and dont let parents get in your way
