I need to get my upper lip waxed... but the thing is, what happens if you get it waxed a couple of times and then you stop waxing it? Will it grow back even worst? I DO NOT want to just leave it. If waxing isn't that good of an idea, what other options do I have to make it unnoticeable?
^^ The problem about NAIR though-- Is that it grows back HECKA fast. Like... 9 days? And then you have to do it agian. What you do is spread it above the upper lip and let it sit there for about 10 minutes then get a towel wet and wipe it off. There is NO pain in the wipeing off part. Maybe a litte bit of a burning sensation while it sits there. But nothing big. I have never used it. I get my eye brows waxed. And I don't need above my upper lip waxed. But from what my friends have said. They like it. [ iloveyou3's advice column | Ask iloveyou3 A Question ]

Meetmyyimshi13 answered Monday December 19 2005, 1:53 am: see the thing is a lot of people say it'll grow back thicker and all that..but really it doesn't...it's just that when u shave it or wax it u don't see the hair for a while so when it grows back it looks like it's worse...anyway..i think shaving is the best way to go...it's quick, painless, and easy to do on a daily basis [ Meetmyyimshi13's advice column | Ask Meetmyyimshi13 A Question ]

The only permanent way to actually get rid of the hair on your upper lip is by electrolysis. It's done by inserting a tiny needle into the hair follicle and using an electric current to kill the hair root. It can be expensive, time consuming, and painful. Removing upper lip hair can take a total of 4-10 hours over several visits.
There are also ways to get rid of hair semi-permanently. Such as, laser hair removal. + A dermatologist maybe able to prescribe a medicated cream for unwanted hair. =] [ naimee's advice column | Ask naimee A Question ]
WHOAitsSAMMM answered Monday December 19 2005, 12:41 am: Yes it will grow back thicker, darker, and grosser so don't do that. You could bleach it blonde so it isn't as noticeable. You could shave it yourself with the same razor you use to shave your legs, I have a friend who does that and it works good for her. I'm not really sure if there is anything else you can do.
