So this is what you typically get; but I'm really confused because different people have been telling me different things.
It's a simple question, really, and that is I can't tell whether this guy likes me or not.
I've never felt so comfortable around anyone before. Usually when I feel so at ease around someone they are either related to me, or FEELS related to me. The thing is we're really good friends and I don't want to mess things up; plus we sit next to each other in English and it will be really awkward.
I had a crush on him at the beginning of the year when we didn't really know each other then I stopped. After a while, he was really depressed for no reason at all, and I was really worried he might be clinically depressed or sth so I spent time talking to him and trying to push him to go to talk to a counsellor about it or sth. We spent a lot of time together and I started liking him again. We flirt so much in English but sometimes I can't tell if he's just being friendly because I know he really respects me. Like every once in a while he'd lie his head on my arms or sth and there was once he wrote I love ****(his name) on my binder and grinned because he knew I'd get into trouble when my mom sees it. There are a lot of other things we'd do but everytime I go into English I'm thinking, alright, stop flirting but before I know it his legs are in mine.
I know what you're thinking, what about try asking him? Well I did. I asked him whether he wanted to do anything during the Winter Holidays just as friends to see what he'd do, but he kind of avoided giving me an answer. He claims he doesn't like anyone. What do you think I should do?

Hmm it sounds like he likes you. Either that or hes a big flirt. Look at him when hes spending time with other girls. Does he do the same things to them? If not, he probably likes you. Maybe get your friend to talk to him, or talk to his best friend. About asking him to do something for the holiday break, maybe hes avoiding answering because he wants to stick to flirting in class. Or maybe he just doesnt want to go out because he doesnt want to ruin the friendship you two have.

im a guy so this helps. since you like him y dont you ask him out. if he says yes thats y he has been acting funny. don't ask him just as friends because if he really likes u that could hurt his feelings alot. flirting in english class got me in alot of trouble with my girlfriend but the teacher didnt do anything. so if you like him just ask him if he will go out with you. i dont know how asking him out could ruin your relationship as friends. im just here to suggest, not to run your life for u.

I really think you guys like eachouther but that`s my opion. Uhm, if he said he does`nt like anyone then I just think he`s being shy.. and maybe he`s going threw the same stuff you are. Flirting can be friendly, but you never know it could be the outher way too. =) I think you just need to work at it, keep trying to bring that topic up and you will get an answer sometime... ok for right now i would leave it as just being friends. But if all of a sudden he starts to like someone, maybe you can tell him how you feel. If he doesnt like you back then i would just say move on. No offense but there is no sense in liking someone if they dont like you back. And if they say it wont happen then maybe they are right it wont happen but things can change.
