Snow day
This may seem like a syupid question to some of you, but i've lived in LA California all my life. I was talking to my cousin on the phone (who lives on the east coast), and she mentioned something aout a 'snow day'. Ummm, what is that? Could we get one in LA? Thank you!

a snow day is when there is no school because of too much snow. you shouldnt ask a question get the same answer from people then try to make them out to be stupid. maybe its the answer to the question, if you got the same results

It's where the snow is pretty bad, so we get off school for the day. But, you just have to make them up later in the year. And no, you probably won't ever have one in LA.

A snow day is when it snows, and the roads are too bad for the buses to get through, so they cancel school. During the snowday you can hang with friends and sled, or whatever. And you can't really get one in LA because it doesnt snow there. Sorry kid.

ya maybe, it's just when it's snowing outside. snow is like a snow cone if u have ever had one.. but it's like a big snow cone is falling out of the sky... it's beautiful... they ground just turns white from the snow.

haha well me being from Maine, was VERY shocked by this question. haha. well it's when a lot of snow comes down and the schools don't think it's safe enough to get to school or back around. For us, we usually need at least 5 inches before schools cancelled, but in LA, no I don't think you'll get one. sorry!!

Being from Pennsylvania, I know alot of snow days. It's when school is cancelled because of alot of snow fall. Usually 3 or more inches. Cali probably NEVER sees snow, so no you can't get a snow day.

A snow day is when you have a day or two off from school, since the snow is accumulating rather quickly and the roads are hard to clear. I live on the East Coast also and the school that I went to last year had many snow days. Snow days are fun but at the end of the year, you need to make the missed days up. I had to make up about 10 days. Yeah, no fun. You probably wouldn't get a snow day.
