I'm a senior in highschool. I've never been very popular but always had some nice friends. Well anyways I just found out that a guy in my english class has been talking about me behind my back. I've never done anything to him so I was suprised to find out just how mean he has been. Well according to some reliable sources he has called me ugly, stupid, and made hand gestures about my stupidity. I'm in the top ten percent of my class so I really don't know why he thinks I"m stupid. My friends tell me that when the teacher calls on me and I answer a question no matter what my answer is he will make fun of me.
The meanest thing he has said was that I was gross and no guy would ever want me. He is friends with my crush and I'm embarrassed if anything got back to him.
I have gone home in tears somedays.
I'm thinking of reporting him to the principle. He also bullies other people.
Why do you think he's so mean to me?
Airie answered Thursday December 1 2005, 7:31 pm: hi. I think he bullies you to feel better about himself. Usually, bullies are insecure and they bother other people to make themselves feel good. But trust me, he's much lower then you. It makes him feel high and mighty to put others down. He's just covering up his own insecurities. If it's really a problem, you should go talk to someone, like a guidence councelor or teacher. You should also get together with those other kids he bullied to help back you up. I hope I helped. And good luck! [ Airie's advice column | Ask Airie A Question ]
