Yep, it's fine to take a pain reliever for your cramps. Midol and Pamprin will help relieve menstrual cramps.

For sure! I get really bad cramps and that's the only way I can fix them. I take two advil and it helps so much! There's also therma-care head pads that you place like over your uterus lol... if that makes sense... like below your belly button and they stay heated for 8 hours! They help so much too! They are sold at like Walgreens and CVS and stores like that!

Hope I helped!

Sporkster answered Thursday December 1 2005, 9:01 pm:
Absolutely, as long as it's a safe dose of Advil or Aleve.

Make sure you check with your parents before you take it.

If that doesn't work, try doing some mild exercise--surprisingly, that actually helps.

Hope you feel better soon, 'cause periods suck.

Teza answered Thursday December 1 2005, 7:36 pm:
Yes, it's fine. Just take one and lay down. Another way to get rid of gramps is drink a lot of milk and keep something warm on your stomach.

Yes that will be okay so long as you're not allergic to them or anything. Midol works very well too. Maybe you can get your mom to get you some. :)
