Ok, so me and this guy, lets call him Kyle, are THE BEST of friends. Kyle goes out with my best friend, lets call her Lauren. So they are going out but me and Kyle are such good friends, we talk about Lauren. Not behind her back really just about how she has a bad attitude towards me and he even agrees with me. Me and Kyle will pretend to "like each other" and make funny comments at church but now, im starting to feel like i like him more than a friend... I mean we even talked and he even said that we would probably go out later on in life, but he wasnt going to break up with lauren for it. And i was like "yea i know." Please dont say i need to get over him becuase its really hard... i mean hes so perfect, the sweetest guy you would ever meet, and i feel like he deserves better than Lauren! Plleaasseee help! Should i just wait on him? Because im willing to...hes that awesome!

MELiixMARiiE answered Wednesday November 30 2005, 9:02 am: Well if you are willing to wait for him, then that's your answer obviously. I shouldn't tell you exactly what to do, I just offer advice. And my advice is to follow your heart, and your's is obviously saying to wait for him. So wait. =] It will all be worth it in the end whenever you two go out. Just stay good friends and keep those feelings for eachother, just don't kiss or do anything that would make him. But you must also think of the friendship that might get ruined if you date him in the future, cause I'm sure if your friend finds out, she will not be happy. So just think of what you want more. Him, or her? I say wait for him. I hope I helped.

I think if he is worth waiting for yes. but really my question is why isn't he willing to break up with bad attitude Betty for his best friend, who sounds awesome. If she treats you like crap then he should have a problem with her. He needs to stand up for you and tell her back off, because you are his best friend. Maybe he thinks you don't like him back and he is waiting for you to let him know you do. I can't really tell you exactly what to do ,becaue it really your decision but, I think you should tell him you like him for real and that you are willing to wait if he and "Lauren" don't work out, but you can't wait forever. good luck [ Docholliday's advice column | Ask Docholliday A Question ]
