DustinACU answered Saturday November 26 2005, 9:35 pm: It is not religion that is important, I think what you are asking is why is believing in something important... and If i am correct than there is a much to be explored. Following Christ is a way of seeing how God intended us to live. If we can see that God created, everything that we experience, we will be able to see that life is not meant just for us to do well in life. With joining a community of believers, we are signing on to a bigger cause. We are here to travel through life with people in the hard times and the great times. Either way, doing it together is better than alone. God is among us and interacting with us in every aspect, we just have to realize His presence sometimes. And being around others who want to discover him more makes life like it was supposed to be. The tension is that we will never fully arrive there, that is why many problems and arguments occur within "Religion". We have made religion more important than living as we were intended to. This is just an attempt to explain what I am trying to lean myself about God and why I am here on this earth. [ DustinACU's advice column | Ask DustinACU A Question ]

It all depends on how you look at religion and what kind of person you are. Sometimes religion is huge because like the muslim, their lives revolve around their religion. If your a person who doesn't take any faith seriously but you do believe in God then religion isn't really important to you. So just ask yourself, " Do I believe in God enough to go to church or something like that every Sunday and to obide by all the rules that follow the religion?" " Would this be the right religion for me?" "Would I really believe this way?"

Not only does it make it feel worth while, it makes it worth while, because you're living to serve and preach about that someone you're living for.
