Well, getting an appropriate amount of sleep is an important thing. I say no little than 8 hours per night, perferably 8 to 11, if that's possible. Also, be shore to drink plenty of water. You could also try applying cool cucumber slices or cool tea bags to the under-eye area, which helps to reduce swelling. I've also heard that placing a frozen spoon under your eye will minimize the dark circles. Personally, I've never done this, but I have seen it on movies, so you might as well give it a shot. To avoid drawing attention to your under-eye area, perhaps you should avoid the use of eye liner or mascara to your lower lashes. :D

And I found some websites that might offer you some help:

well, sometimes circles under the eyes are just a genetic family trait becuz thats why i have them. The only thing i can tell ya is that cover up will help but dont buy anything cheap(i learned the hard way) you could always go to the store and ask a worker what they would suggest..hope this helps!

well it may be that you naturaly have dark circls under your eyes but try some cover up..i kknkow u already do but don't buy the cheap stuff get some good stuff, don't rub your eyes too much, don't wear to much eye make-up because that will cause attention to your eyes, and if you have contacts wear them not glasses cause glasses will sometimes make a shadwod which will make then worse. Good-Luck!! <3

Here are your answers:

1) A 13-year-old should get about 9 hours of sleep a day. If you want to achieve it, then you should go to bed at 9:30-10:00. If you have too much homework, ask your parents to write you a note, and finish it up the next day and turn it in late.

2) I'm not sure where dark circles come from. Some say it's just genetic, some say it comes from not sleeping enough, and I've even heard stuff about having blood problems...:/ But you can hide them if you buy cover-up, or some liquid foundation. Don't get the powder stuff...the area under your eyes are very dry and it will be totally noticeable. Some good brands are Ben Nye, and Maybelline Mousse.

contrary to popular belief, dark circles don't come from lack of sleep. they're genetic and are caused by tiny capilaries that deposit blood under your eye, where the blood turns a deep purple. it has something to do with oxidation.
to hide them, try getting a light, not heavy, liquid makeup (i use clinique almost-makeup it's usually around $20 for a tube) and just apply it using a make-up sponge to help it blend. :)

At that age, you're looking at about 9-11 hours of sleep a day. This might seem like a hell of a lot, especially for those of us *raises hand guiltily* who stay up 'accidentally' until one in the morning, completely forgetting it's a Sunday night. If you're getting less than eight hours uninterrupted sleep every night, then you need to look into some sort of mild sleeping tablet, or, preferably, try drinking something lukewarm before you try to sleep. Keep away from books, and make sure all radiation-emitting (read: televisions, computers.) devices are off. If you stay up late thinking about things, then try this: Visualise all these thoughts in your head. Take them, and stuff them in a sack. Tie it well, and throw it off a cliff. Try not to think too hard about this, though.

I can't/won't give you any help on make-up suggestions, sorry, both because I'm ignorant of any helpful products, and in that my views on make-up are...slightly slanted.
