Well, since I LOVE RENT and seen it a bunch of times, I'd say Johanne would be the more masculine one, since she is a lesbian while Maureen is bi and will flirt with anyone.... She being a lawyer and all also makes her seem like the more masculine one. But no matter, they both seem pretty feminine to me, and the point is not that there is a masculine and a feminine one at all.

Maureen is definately more flirty and outgoing. Joanne is more reserved and not shy, but to herself. Have you seen the movie yet? It's really good. I would say that neither one is really more masculine, but Maureen is more pushy.

i think joanne is because during the "tango maureen" mark and joanne dance and he says "this is hard doing it backwards..." but i havent seen the movie yet...i memorized the soundtrack tho. <3
