the first time, it prolly wont be anything. prolly just a lil blood.
you can carry pads or tampons in your backpack everyday until you get it...
or when you get it, you can go to the nurse
if you dont like either of those options, and you get it, you can wad up toilet paper until you get home , or if worst comes to worst, use your sock (as a pad)

Your first period can be scary. Although, when I first started, I was at school. Nothing got on my pants, and no one saw anything or expected anything. If you are at school, go to the nurse and tell her you're sick and your stomach hurts and you want to go home. She'll let you go. Don't let it bother you. As far as signs go, I had no idea I was about to start..it just happens.

Don't be worried about your periodd, it's a normall thing&&if any one ever says anything about it to you.. just tell 'em it's normal. Other signs would be: Mood swings, cramps, back pains, tirednes, you may be more emotional, mayy feel wet down there and then you wil want to check. But honestly dont worry its scary your first timee but after a few times you get use to it..

ok
well first dont panic it is a complete natural thing you first period and since it is your first day it will be very light so dont worry about that
the second thing is just always be prepared keep some stuff with you in your purse or backpack
you will kinda get a feeling when it is about to start ...also you will prbably get cramps or you willl get sick to your stomach....anyway but tylenol midol and advil all work so just use that dont worry it wont be a big deal if you get it in class cause it wont go through most likely

Heyy hunni dont be scared!
if your in school in class and you start its unlikely to be heavy just very light. sort out a few pads or pantyliners and put them in a small make up bag and pop it in your school bag so your fully prepared. when you do start you may notice... a bit of wetness in your underwear.

signs that your period is on its way may be...
1. you get discharge a couple of days before starting
2. cramps in your lower tummy
3. back ache

if you do start in class and need to tell the teacher its unlikely that any one will see anything as it'll most probably only be very light.
dont worry hunni youll be fine if you want more advice add me on msn or leave a message in my email inbox xx take care

i was in your position not too long ago. i was the last one to get it of all my friends so i was scared to death...my advice: dont even worry about it. the first time you get it, its barely enough to tell you have it and i'm not joking! i couldnt tell until i went to the bathroom then i realized after... its not a lot and the chances of it going through are slim unless you go comando in a white skirt. chill out, you will know and life will be good. if it makes you more comfortable, keep a liner in your bookbag. <3

Hii babe. ♥
Aw Dont worry. I mean having your period is NO fun. But its actually not scary. You dont have to worry about getting it all over your pants because when you first start it, its not gonna be super red and thick. It will be extremely light and it will take a long time until it gets heavy. SO you should know by then that you got it.
About school..If you want to feel prepared bring some pads in your backpack, but hide them in something just incase someone knocks over your backpack or something.
Also for some weird reason..You know you got your period for the first time. It might feel gross down there, or you feel some pressure on your lower stomach. Thore are some signs are getting it. Like I said DONT be all caught up in this, I was like obsessive compolsive.. I would walk around with a hoodie tied around my waste, even before I started because I was scared it would get all over my pants. eek. But now im over it. Those are the worst case scenarios that usually never even happen.
But always just in case bring a hoodie or something in case it gets on your pants once youve started for awhile. Like i said When you actually start..your period wont be heavy enough for it to get on your clothes or whatever. If it does you'll know in time that youve started.

I hope I helped. Sorry this is was long. G0OD LUCK!!!!!

it's ok. everyone gets nervous but it's really no big thing. carry a pad or tampon in your purse for when you get it for the first time (if you are in school) or keep one in your locker and even keep an extra pair of underwear in there just to be safe. (backpack or something like that) some signs will be cramps. if you do get it in class wait until class is over so not everyone sees (the first time though is usually not really big so it wont go through or anything) then just go to the bathroom or the nurse if you need to and bring a friend who has gotten it before to help you out. hope this helps
