Paint them then you can just pick at the nail polish not your fingers and cuticles!

Hope I helped!

OMG!!!! same here! ahh! its so hard to stop! well i have heard of this stuff that you put on your nails and its sorta like hotsauce. Everytime you bite them it burns your tounge. My solution was to get fake solar nails from the salon. Then i realized I could stop biting them. Its more of a mental thing. When i got them off, the habit was broke! I hope this helps

you have to keep it in your mind all the time, kinda like a mantra, just continuosly think "I will not pick my fingers, I will not...ect" untill it works.

don't worry...i do that too if im really stressed out or nervous. one thing that helps me is to paint my nails, cuz then they look all pretty and i don't want to mess them up. but it also helps because if u need to pick at something, you can just pick off the nailpolish and not at your cuticles. :)

I have the same problem. AT first i would just paint my nails every day because if i bit them then i would hate the taste of the fingernail polish so you could try that. Then that wasnt goin very good so i was puttin fingernail polish remover on them every morning and that helped a little. Now i just get my nails done alot like getting acrilic(spelling??)ones and that helps alot but it costs alot of money to keep gettin them done.

hope i helped

I HAVE THE EXACT SAME PROBLEM! phew im glad im not the only one lol well i put on my fingers this real digusting spray so when i try to bite my nails/skin i start to spit out the bad taste and it reminds me to not to bite anymore and how much of a bad habit it is. Try these sites i found that would help along with my advice to you:

Also try putting veggie oil on your fingers, that tastes really awful so you wont want to bite again.Good Luck! its a tough habit to break(i know)Leave one in my inbox if you need anymore advice on this subject!

hope i could help you out!

Hey, I have a friend that has a similar problem. I liked the answer bout getting your nails done. Thats a great idea! but also if you paint your nails regularly then try repainting your nails often so you have to remove it the taste stays for awhile. Beleive me when you go to bite your nails it will taste revolting!

hey, maybe try siting on your hands or get a friend or/and ur family to tell you when you are doing it because if you know u are doing it than you could have an easier time stopping. good luck hope this helped.
