surprise
tomorrow, my boyfriend is in a play, and I told him I can't come because I have work, so he's REALLY bummed, but really, I'm gonna show up and surprise him. My question is, what should I get him? Like you would get a girl roses for a good performance, so what should you get a boyfriend? Keep it under 10-20 dollars. Just brainstorm a whole bunch of ideas. I don't care whether its unoriginal or really creative. I just cant think of ANYTHING. haha thanks. <3

My family is really into theater, and every time my brother is in a play we get him chocolate roses, or something else chocolately. That way he's still "getting flowers" but they're cool, because he can eat them. Or really anything chocolate works, like a big Hershey's bar or something small from Fannie May. (If you have those..I don't know..are they still around even? Heh) Once we even got him a chocolate champagne bottle! But it's really not a big deal what you get him, because surprising him by showing up should be the real present! :-D

I think it would be a really good idea to do something really personal like get a coloring book from Preciious Moments and color a page with a couple on it and write "great performance/job/etc" on it.

that is a hard one a food of some kind of course but somthing sweet and good like cookies,brownies,candy,ect.

I just asked my son and he said to tell you to PLEASE not get flowers. He said that it's hard enough to be a straight guy in a play (his friends give him a hard time already - flowers would give them more amunition). He said the best thing to get a guy is to bake him cookies.
So I guess that old saying is still true, "The best way to get to a guys heart, is through his stomach."
