Question Posted Saturday November 12 2005, 11:16 pm
i haven't had my period for 2 months and i know i'm pregnant because i'm a virgin. relatives and stuff think that i have a problem with reproductive system or something and wants me to see a gyno, but i really don't want to do that and i'll make that my last resort. they think it's because i always drink cold stuff and don't eat. my weight is the same as before and idk. help? i'm 14/f by the way
truadvice answered Sunday November 13 2005, 1:21 pm: well if you've had your period for about a year to two years its normal that it may stop for some time up to 6 months . its not because you drink cold drinks , it may be a good idea to see a gyno though . the won't touch you your too young . they'll take a blood test to see your hormone levels and where there at . happy-helper answered Sunday November 13 2005, 12:48 pm: Periods are mainly focused on patterns. My diagnosis is that your body hasn't fully adapted to this pattern. I know some who have have their period for 2 years and still have irregular patterns, it isn't abnormal! :)

ankeagle14 answered Sunday November 13 2005, 11:06 am: your young enough where your period hasnt made an exact pattern yet. you may not get it for a while, then get it, then not. dont worry, its perfactly normal. i know alot of people who have gotten it. trust me, your fine, but next time you talk to your doctor, just let them know, not that its somthing to worry about. if you have any more questions, feel free to ask!

Ivy921 answered Sunday November 13 2005, 9:45 am: At your age periods aren't always regular and that is normal. However, if you had normal periods before and now you don't, you may have lost too much weight or something else is up. I doubt you have a reproductive problem right now, but if you are too thin ( i don't know if that is the case or not of course) and that is stopping your period, that can become an issue. Maybe talking to your regular doctor first can help. Good luck and keep me posted. [ Ivy921's advice column | Ask Ivy921 A Question ]
SoInToYoUx0x answered Sunday November 13 2005, 1:46 am: your perfectally normal. DONT see a gyno go to ur family doctor and if it is a guy he will send you to a girl that will help you out that isnt a gyn.. but i dont see a reason for you to go to the doctor because it is normal and you shouldnt worry about it to much.
