I'm 13, and there's this guy that I REALLY like. I told him, he doesn't like me back, but we're still friends. There's a dance in 3 hours, and I'm not sure whether I should ask him to slow dance. I mean, we slow danced last dance, and I'm afraid that I'll look like I'm desperately trying to "win" him when I'm not, especially considering the fact that he knows that I like him and that he does not like me back. Do you think I should, or would I just look like a loon? If not, could you give a good reason?

I think you should ask him to dance. Like when A song gets ready to come on be like " Hey! Do you wana dance!?" And be all happy about it! That way you wont look desperate. I had the SAME problem!
