You should check out the movie reviews for this film by using Rotten Tomatoes. This will jog your memory but should not replace watching it and doing your own thinking and discovery and coming up with your own answer and essay to answer the teacher's question about Homer's Abyss.
At the same time I am indeed a film critic and syndicated as my day job and have material on Rotten Tomatoes and an NBC affilaited Web site with 1.5 Million hits not to brag. I also host Reel Talk on teentalknetwork.com. I will gladly help you if you use my advice as a guide and also conduct your own research about the film.
