Question Posted Thursday November 3 2005, 10:42 am
Okay I have Limewire, and all of a sudden, It wont let me download songs. Everything else works as it should, I mean I can access my library and search for music, but when I double click on a song, nothing happens. Nothing pops up or anything, it just acts like I never did anything. I have tried pressing the download button and right clicking and downloading, but nothing happens. I have also tried redownloading limewire like 3 times. Nothing works. Does anyone know whats causing this or have any solutions?
Have you been installing or uninstalling anything else recently? This isn't very likely, but may be you changed something that's shared? Since Limewire runs on Java, reinstalling your Java Runtime Environment might help. Here's a link to the Java download page: [Link](Mouse over link to see full location)
CoCorina answered Friday November 4 2005, 12:11 am: ok. i would delete limewire.
some of those songs have viruses.
i had that and it totally screwed over my computer. i had to redo everything. it went to a stage where i had nothin left. and then i had to download everything back and i lost all my pictures. [thank god for photobucket now huh? lol] but in my opinion i would just delete it.
