What makes boys voices change? Like i know they change when they go thru puberty ... but what exactly makes their voices change?

Hormones during puberty signal the vocal chords to lenghten but the muscles that support the vocal chords can take years to catch up. So basically your vocal chords have grown and your muscles aren't strong enough to support them. Until they are your voice can fluctuate randomly without your control.

Your vocal chords grow. In growing, sometimes it produces a funny "cracking" sound in your voice.
