foundation?

Question Posted Saturday October 22 2005, 4:34 pm

Why can't I wear foundation? I'll put on a little and blend it in but when you look at my face..it's all fuzzy and then it gets dry..and my face looks worse than it did before. I have tried powder and it worked until my face started to get dry and I can't wear it either. I don't know what to do...

Try putting some moisturizer on the spots that you know tend to get dry. Then start out by using a liquid foundation, then put on all your other makeup and go back over your face with a powder foundation to even out the tone in your face. That really helps you get a good natural look that's not "painted on". Powders dry out my face too, so try to get a good moisturizer that won't make your face break out.

oh you need to moisturize your face like like at night before you go to bed get a moisturizer and just apply some before bed and then try putting foundation on, also the type of foundation you use is important i strongly suggest getting the dream matte mousse from maybelline it works soo good!! its probabally because you don't need foundation. its only ment to even skin tones and ment for mainy women in their mid-20s and up. i would dry mositerizing your face then try some finish powerder that is real lightweight. that will give you the finnish you want. and if you looking in a mirror and it looks powerderly on you its okay because it looks perfect when others seen it from a slightly farther distance

You need to use a moisturizer.
Apply it at least ten minutes before you put your foundation on.

That happens to me sometimes. In the morning before school if my face feels dry like it's going to do that I put on some moisturizer, it usually helps. A really good moisturizer is Pevonia Botanica. You can find it in places like Dillards, Macy's, Filenes, and places like that. Also, your face wash might be drying you out a little.
