Question Posted Saturday October 22 2005, 12:39 am
i just came back from Paris, France last year and people barely talked to me. I am nice etc. and i am just wondering why this is happening. this is my second year and the people at my school still look at me weirdly or when I slip, they (some people) laugh. And nowadays at my school there are a ton of little groups...I am so mad and emmbarresed sometimes but I act as if I don't care if someone laughs at me. But I do care. If I actually said something i'd probably be more unpopular for the rest of my school year. Also my friends are sometimes hard to deal with....just wondering....i need advice! What is going on?!

So do your own thing! Being popular isnt important..its more important to have caring friends. So be yourself! Do your best to socialize and be nice..and i bet you will make friends. Dont worry about what others will think - there will always be some people who just dont like you...dont dwell on that, focus on the people who care about you.
