theres this boy i like... and i wanna ask him out..
i've been dropping him hints..but i dont think he gets it. i think hes afraid to express his feelings (if he does like me which i have no idea about) like one time, at a school dance (we both had no dates) and i told my friend to ask him out for me and she did and he said no..but she said she was just wondering and i didnt really know she was doing that. but that was before he started to know me. cause hes a new kid. but now we know each other a little bit better and i've been really pretty and funny (i guess thats what he looks for in a girl) and a few days ago, i told him i thought he was hott. he didnt say anything though. haha...should i ask him out? but i kinda want to wait til he knows me a lot more... cuz if he says no..i'll never have another chance..but im so confused. what do i dooo? thanks! much love!!

I say wait. You barely know him well enough.It would be much better if you waited because then you can have conversation topics (LOL) and you can learn abouthim a little better. Also...let him know you a little better as well....you say he's new and let me tell you from experience...new is sometimes very...frustrating. But wait about a month or two and if you think it is all right and he is more comfortable with his new school...ask him. There is no harm..only feelings. Follow your instincts. Also since he is on your bus talk to him like a old friend would..he prbably needs a good friend or two. About expressing his feelings...your probably right..he is afraid...he doesn't know what everyone expects him to say..and he probably saw the signs a long time a go but is to "afraid" to show it. But don't worry....give him a little time and if you still like him and he likes you then all will probably work out in the end.

how/why do you want to ask a guy out that you barely know and barely even talk to?? Whats wrong with getting to know some1 first? I mean, dont 2 people go out, because they like each other, flirt with each other and talk to each other?
Why are you rushing into things so fast? First you become friends. You talk and get to know 1 another. You dont just pick a guy out that YOU like and ask him out!! Your probably scaring him away, because for 1 thing, you and him never talk.
Lets say "Joe Schmoe" never talked to you, and out of the blue just asked you out? Wouldnt you be like, "omg, i never even talk to that kid, and i dont really know him". "Why is he asking me out"?

I think you should wait to ask him out. If you have any doubt about whether you should ask him out, than just wait a little longer until the moment is right. When you said "i kinda want to wait til he knows me a lot more" that indicates to me that the two of you still have to get to know each other a little better before you try dating. Just enjoy being able to flirt with him. You also want to make sure that dating is what he wants. If he says "No", then it will ruin yalls friendship.
