can't get rid of myspace layout

so i pasted the code for a new layout in the 'about me' section of my myspace. and now i can't get rid of it! or edit my profile at all for that matter! it like messed up my page, and when i go to 'edit profile' to delete the code, there's an error and the page freezes and the only thing i can do is click out of myspace all together. how do i get rid of this stupid thing?

Go to Safe Mode to edit your "About Me" section. If it doesn't work, click the delete link.

To go to Safe Mode, login to Myspace, and click "Home" on the top left corner. You should see a box with the heading "Hello, (your name)!", and the last link in that box should be "Safe Mode".
