Question Posted Saturday October 15 2005, 9:19 pm

Ok. My sister just had to Gall Blatter taken out Thursday and she isn't supposed to lift things over 5lbs in 2 weeks and she has a baby. Her baby is 2 and he weighs about 20lbs! She picked him up today and it scared me. Cause her cuts could come open! How can I get her not to pick him up?!?! I mean it scares me! Thanks

suggest that you can watch her baby. and if she tries to pick him up just pick up the baby and say something like "its okay ill watch him you just relax. i dont want you to get hurt"

You need to help her with anything that you might think she'll need help lifting. My best friend, her mom is real sick and she cant even walk by herself, so she has to help her, so dont be scared to help her, try to even if she doesnt want you to, or if she says she can handle it. Just be real casual with it.

You can tell her to sit down and have the two year old sit in her lap. No real need to lift him.

Who knows if she will listen to you. Some people are just stubborn. But, its worth a shot! :)
