ok-so i have this friend and she OBSESSES about people from other schools she like used to be my bff but now i dont think i'm cool enough or something. she completely ignores me sometimes just to hang out with popular kids from other schools....all she cares about is being popular and she even obsesses over it in her pro and xanga n' stuff and it REALLY hurts my feelings! she doesn't care about me anymore, ever since becoming cool was so important to her.what should i do?

whoever this friend is, you should talk to her. maybe she isnt just becoming friends with the other person to become popular. maybe, since yall seem like you have been friends for a while, just needed a break and wanted to find someone to hang out with. she will eventually become your friend again once she feels that she has taken time to start another friendship with someone that she wanted to get to know a little better. dont stress over it though because from what it looks like, she used to like you and so she knows really good things about you. it will take time but yall will be friends again. trust me. ask back if you have more questions.
