Vendetta answered Thursday October 13 2005, 1:25 pm: You have other plans.
You are punished.
You are sick.
You have a family emergency.
You are going to a funeral/wedding.
You already said yes to another party.
Your family is making you go somewhere with them.
sbloemeke answered Thursday October 13 2005, 12:24 pm: Just say that you are busy that night. That's it. You don't need to give a reason, but if you just say that you had other plans that you couldn't break, it'll work. [ sbloemeke's advice column | Ask sbloemeke A Question ]

- You're grounded
- You have something religious to attend
- You made prior plans with someone else
- You aren't feeling well
- You have a major test coming up and really need to study/ or have a huge pile of homework
