lately i've be really sad because i feel like i'm not pretty and the boy i've liked for so long likes my friend and he hugs her and everything and i feel like no one likes me and i know i won't get a date to homecoming

sweety dont get so down..so0o many people are in the same boat as you. you gota keep your head up and stay positive. its all you can do ! i mean..you cant MAKE someone like you..keep your head high..socialize..be friendly..and you will find a guy. my friends and i usually dont have dates..we jjust go and have fun..so live it up!

im kind of going through the same thing right now. but recently ive realized that i dont need a guy to be happy. i go out with my friends every weekend and have fun no attachments. Think of the bad things of having a boyfriend such as you cant flirt with every guy you want without getting in trouble and such and when you least expect it a guy will come along.

Well Just think someone out there loves you! Maybe your true love is right around and you just dont know it! Well hand out with you freind alot and maybe gte to know him so he can get to know you.

ugh man i hate that feeling. My friend Michelle is the biggest flirt. It doesn't matter if you LOVE the guy she just throws herself on them and she is super model pretty so they love it. There have been a few guys in my time she has taken. First of all, you need to stop thinking that you are ugly. There is nothing more than low self-esteem that turns a guy off.
Also, you need to find out whether or not your friend likes him. If she does, I WOULD NOT advise stealing him from her. Face it,you arent gonna marry this guy, so her friendship is much more important. In that case, I know it will be hard, but you need to try to let him go, find a guy who appriciates you.
If she doesnt, tell her that you like him! If she is a friend at all she will stop letting him hug her and step aside so the GORGEOUS YOU can set it up so he WANTS to sweep you off your feet. Try reading "Jane Austen's Guide to Dating" or "The Rules" for dating advise.
