Why do preps call people that aren't preps preps. Sorry kinda confusing but I'm just wondering that. Cause a few of the real preps call me a prep and I deff. don't consider myself or my friends preps.

It's because people on the inside never see themeslves on the inside. It's like popular people who don't consider thereselves popular...even though they are. Preps call other people preps either because they don't realize it, they're trying to draw attention away from them, or they're just plain stupid...j/k. Because people, by nature, stereotype others. Does it really matter if they call you a prep or not? No. You are who you are. They can all fuck off if they do not like you.

because the ones that are calling the ones that arent preps preps have their heads in the clouds all the time. preps are all ditz'. they need a reality check.

Because people do not want to be known as the prep group, and they think that there is only one prep group in the school. So, by calling another group the preps, they are automatically not the preps in their mind.

This usually happens because they are stupid. They have to insult other people just to make themselves feel good. Don't let it get to ya. Once they realize that you don't care what they think, they will stop.

well if you wear like abercrombie or hollister they might think of you as a prep. I wear abercrombie but im DEFINITLY not a prep! you know what you are though, so it really doesnt matter what they say. Hope I Helped!

It's because they want a self esteem boost by calling other people preps so they can feel good about their preppyness. Just ignore them because they're dumb to need to feel good about themselves to call people what they aren'.t
