Chocolate is bad for dogs, you're very right. However, a 30 pound dog won't suffer complications from one tiny Tootsie Pop. I'm shore you have nothing to worrie about; don't sweat it. [:

No, he will not die. Chocolate is not good for dogs, but he didn't have enough to get sick. Now, he might have a tummy ache but your dog will be fine. It will eventually poop it out.

no she will not die.
i dunno if the questions here have become more insipid, or if i have become callous due to seventeen weeks of nonstop harassment by india troop's drill sergeants. either way, something has to be fixed, and pronto.

Chocolate is not good for dogs, but it shouldn't be enough to harm her - unless she ate the stick also. If she DID eat the stick also, and shows ANY signs of distress, I would RUSH her to the vet! If she is not passing stools normally, eating, drinking, or is acting sick or as if she has a stomach ache, call the vet. ASAP.

She should be alright though. One tootsie pop probably isn't enough to hurt her, considering her size.

i dont think eating a tootsie pop will do much more than give her a bad stomachache. she might throw up but thats actually a good thing because it gets the chocolate out of her system. if she is still feeling sick within 24 hours of when she ate it, take her to the vet. dont worry. you'll be ok.
