Please answer everybody I really need help!! i rate high!!
Ok so I've known this guy (we'll call him Jay) for about 3-4 months now and I reallllyy like him!! And one of his friends told me the other night that he liked me too and was wondering if I was feeling the same. And Jay asks for hugs from me alot and he really sqeezes me hard and he won't let go for a long time, you know? but I don't know if he's for real or if he's just doing this..and the other thing is his girlfriend from 3 years ago is around him alot..and he dosen't really talk to her but shes REALLy pretty..and he still might like her. maybe not. And today I was really mean to him because I didnt' know how to react to him liking me you know? no hugs, yelled and him, and yea i really regret it now. but i need help on what to do!! i rate 5's!!

Ok you really need to tell him how you feel IN PERSON... because i had this boy who liked me according to my friend but he didnt make a move or anything before i told him in person. then a day after he asked me out... so you need to tell him like stuff like
"so how is things between you and your ex?"
and he will say oh we are through or just friends
then you tell him
" oh because i been liking you and didnt know what to do because she is always around you and someone told me that you guys were still together"
(that someone told me ...part would be a lie but still its a good line to find out without being awkward)
and you have to explain why you were being mean to him
and if you still need help let me know and i will answer ASAP

it seems to me hes just trying to get sex outta you if he trys doing other things like grabbing certain parts of ur body or trying to seduce you then hes just into sex and you should dump him and if his gf is hanging around him all the time and shes really preety he might fall for her again so u need ot talk to him and her and find out wat the deal is i hope my advice helps goodluck

Just because his ex is around him a lot doesn't mean that he still likes her. There's a possibility that she just wants him back for whatever reason.
That is an extremely confusing reaction. He probably really did like you. Best you can do is try to ask him out before you make him hate you.

Go up to him ASAP and say sorry for being pissy/bitchy.
Then ask about his ex girlfriend and what's going on with that.
Then ask about any other girls (potential rivals) in his life.
Then ask him if he's interested in you.

i think you should go talk to him and explain to him how you feel. if you dont it will be like your pushhing him away and he will stop likeing you.. if eh likes you and you like him back the go for it and hook up.. there is nothin holding you back.. and about his ex dont pay attetntion to her. i mean she had her chance and lsot it. remember looks arent everything. she might just be a pretty girl and be very mean and stuck up on the inside. hope this helps you out.

First of all, i would recommend you going and just apologizing and explaining why you acted that way towards him. I'm sure he'll understand and he'll probably think that you're really sweet so maybe try that. And as for starting a relationship with him, just be patient. Sounds like he'll come to you sooner or later so you dont have to worry. Since you know he likes you, then you dont have to stress about his old girlfriend, even if she is pretty.
