ok....heres the deal. I started my period about hmmm....the beginning of the summer! ok im 13 just to let you no. welli use pads and i hate them so much!! i want to start useing tampons but i dont no if i should because i have only had my periiod for about 4 or 5 months! im goin 2 start soon and its my first time in school! what should i do! what is the age to start usig tampons and should i use them now??????? i want to wear skirts and things and not worry about my pad! please write bak asap! thnx yall

any age is fine. and you can wear a skirt with a pad or with a tampon.

I think that you should start using a tampon when you are comfortable with the fact of using them. There is no specific time to use one, just when u are ready. Tampons can be way easier than pads because you don't have to worry about changing them. So you can go a whole day with out worrying about a leak. But... whenever you are ready. BuIn my opinion, and others agree, tampons are better... in the long run.

you can use tampons anytime...(as long as you have your period)...there is no certain age limit for tampons...so go ahead and start using them!
