hi honey, i can't give you the answers you want but i can give you the truth..... not so nice.
to boost self esteem, grow older, pretend your confident, experience difficult situations, maybe try hypnosis.
foods, healthy and filling, good carbs and protein mixed together at mealtimes, loads of veg. make sure your not over eating to fill emotional gaps. you might need help, again hypnotherapy.
to lose weight, find out why you over eat, dont just diet and exercise, solve the root of the problem. what do you get from eating? happiness? pleasure? maybe you can get that from something other than food?

#1- self esteem- the best way to boost self esteem is to be happy with everything around you. be excited for the future. think of everything as a blessing and be happy for everything you have. there are always less fortunate people, and its not like "oh im better" its more of a "see how much better you have it" always remember tht people love you and tht youre in a good spot. cherish your friends and keep staying happy. smiling is actually proven to make you happier. the happier you are, the more self esteem you have.
#2- healthy foods- things such as salads are pretty filling and very very healthy for you. its important that you keep your energy up try to keep your heart rate up. other foods to eat, some good things are vegetables/fruits. they only have natural sugars instead of added sugars. added sugars/ sweets/ etc are the things that are helping people to gain weight. take a break from that. drink juice or water instead of soda. try keeping a record of how many calories and what kinds of foods you eat. this helps you to see your income of food and makes you think "what can i do to improve?"
#3- you should go and keep your heart rate up by doing excerccises or stretches. jumping is very heart pumping,anything thts excercising/stretching is the best ]
Here's a way to boost self-esteem: Get rid of those negative thoughts. Thinking 'I'm so stupid!' or 'I'll NEVER get anything right!' are what I mean. Replace those thoughts with something like 'I can do it!' and things like that. Also, do what you love, like a sport or hobby. Be happy! It may sound like it won't work, but believe me, IT WILL!
Some foods that are healthy... well, Special K is a very, very good cereal, in my opinion. Healthy and tasty. Try different kinds of fruits and vegetables, too.
Well, if you want to lose weight, you'll have to eat healthy. There really isn't a choice. You also need to exercise.
But eating healthier isn't as drastic as you may think. Here are some tips:
Drinking water is great! Instead of drinking soda, have tea, water, or juice every once in a while and limit your soda intake to about once a week.
You can also replace white bread with whole wheat bread.
Another great thing to do is replace fried foods with something healthier. For instance, try grilled chicken instead of fried chicken.

One way not to boost self esteem: lowering other people's self esteem. That equals bad. Because then they'll start asking "What are some ways to boost self esteem?" and on and on xD Hmm, one way i guess would to do something you like/are good at. Like a hobby or something?
Some food...fruit? vegetable biscuits? [had to mention those, I was eating those for lunch], i guess pretty much anything that isnt junk food? lol.
Some ways to lose weight... one obvious one would be exercise... do a sport, ya da da. Another would be to... just run around randomly for no reason for several minute? i dont know... mostly i'd say is exercise... haha. Anything type of exercise other than lifting stuff animals probably would help XD ]
