The same thing happened to me. One of my best friends is a guy, and I like him, and he likes me, but he has a girlfriend. Half the time he's all over me and tells me I'm beautiful and stuff, and the other half he's showing me pictures of his girlfriend and staying away from me. This is a confusing situation, and it can be horrible for you. The best thing to do is try to hang out with him as friends. Whatever you do, don't lead him on or anything like that. Don't go past hugging. Your friend needs to know that you care about him, but you respect his relationship. Hang out as friends, fantasize about him, and act like you like him but you're not interested in a relationship right now. It can be hard to tell how he feels because you are such close friends, but hang in there. When they break up he's all yours! :) Good luck!

hmm...well these situations are very hard...I liked one of my friends before...just tell him! Maybe instead of wanting to be friends he used that excuse just to hang out with you! (( I use that excuse a lot =) )) but the only bad thing is he could say he just wants to be friends and thats the hard part...you need to say something like " I know were just friends but...i really like you and cant stand JUST being friends!" something like that should get them! =)

Here are some signs: 1)The most obvious signs to tell that a guy likes you is when he says the dumbest things just to keep talking. I say this because a guy I really like does that to me but he doesnt want to admit that he likes me. Because he thinks I will laugh. Also if a guy tries to hold your hand or starts talking dirty as a joke it's totally obvious.
2) One of the most obvious signs that a guy likes you is that he will just always stare at you even if they dont know you, they will just stare at you from a distance hoping that you will notice them.
3) When a guy likes to play around alot and glance his eye at you alot even when your looking. He makes up nicknames and picks on you for fun because he knows it will be a funny joke and not serious to make you mad. when your angry he will feel sad for you and tell you he's sorry if he bothered you. They also will take up for you.
4) I think if a guy likes you he"ll be touchy feely or he"ll like keep "accidentally" bumping into you just to touch you.
I also think a guy will play stupid when he's around you looking like a fool but he just really wants to impress you.
Guys will also act hard when they're around a girl they like or over protective of you.
5)He'll use the any excuse to touch you.. like if you're wearing a necklace he'll move closer and grab it to "look at the necklace" or he'll play with a tie on your shirt or a ring.. anything to get close to you.
He play fights with you.
when he's talking to you he'll touch your arm or put his hand on your shoulder.
He always makes eye contact with you.. even when you're not talking he'll just look at you and smile.. and he can't stop smiling.
He says stupid things to keep the conversation going.
He'll tease you playfully.
If you're going to the movies, he'll choose a scary movie over a comedy or anything else.. scary movies are an excuse to cuddle. :p

mixed signals suck, don't they? I've had some trouble with them in the past. Based on my previous experiences, if you tell him you like him, and he doesn't return the feelings, the worsn't he can say is no. My friend and I are still very good friends, and we are the same as before I brought liked him into our relationship. If he does like you he'll be impressed with you bringing the subject up. believe me, every thing will work out!
