Well, alot of other people don't like it much, but I absolutely LOVE the stuff on Psychopatic Records.

check out [Link](Mouse over link to see full location) for info on one of the main bands and [Link](Mouse over link to see full location) for background info on what's going on.

also, the official site is:

click the pic of whoever you want to learn about, and you'll be re-directed to the artists page

happy hunting.

Errr...I think you're asking the wrong person for music advice. At least not hip-hop, I'm not a hip-hop girl, sorry.

hip hop isn't usually my thing, but I don indulge in some. if you want something original you could go for a contemporary artist like Jem. She's a Welsh singer, and her stuff's pretty trippy. I dunno about stores, but ebay and Amazon probably have her CD (she only has one out). It's called "Finally Woken". I think her stuff's good souled plus she writes it herself!

I'm not a huge fan of hip-hop so I'm probably the wrong person to ask haha, but try some of the Beastie Boys' stuff. They were pretty much the inventors of rap/hip-hop.

Sorry if this isn't helping much, my expertise lies in classic rock.

Hmm.. You could try "It's That Simple" by MOP, but that might be too "hard" for some people. Methods of Mayhem's album had some pretty good tracks on it, so check that out, even though it's a few years old.

If hip-hop influenced pop is more your thing, try the UK group Blue, especially their track, "Bubblin'."

I'm not a really big fan of hip-hop, but I hope I helped anyway!
