Should I be worried if I'm on birth control (and have taken it effectively) and he uses a condom and pulls out? I know there's always a chance of getting pregnant, but I should be fine..right?
sbloemeke answered Friday September 30 2005, 8:49 pm: Well, pull out works rarely, as there may be semen at the tip already that can make their way in. You have a 0.000025% chance of getting pregnant (Yes, really.) I wouldn't worry about it. [ sbloemeke's advice column | Ask sbloemeke A Question ]
Imperialistic answered Friday September 30 2005, 8:08 pm: Well, the pill is 99% effective and a condom is 92% effective so you're better than fine. You shouldn't make him pull out though because you're good anyway and pulling out doesn't change anything except he gets the short end. You aren't pregnant. But I understand where you're coming from, I'm JUST like you. I get paranoied about EVERYTHING. And I mean, EVERYTHING!
frenchfries21 answered Friday September 30 2005, 6:50 pm: you dont really have anything to worry about. im just as paranoid as you are, but i know that itll be ok. birth control and using a condom, most likely you wont have any problems. AnneNonimous answered Friday September 30 2005, 6:49 pm: Statistically speaking, both condoms and birth control when used correctly have an effective rate of over 99%. While technically the only sure-fire way to avoid being pregnant is abstinence, I'd say that your chances are as low as they can possibly be to not get pregnant and still have sex. Curry09 answered Friday September 30 2005, 6:39 pm: yes, you should be fine. Condoms barely get people pregnant and your on birth control so i dont think you will get pregnant.
