Hair help!!!

Question Posted Friday September 30 2005, 3:42 pm

Okay so i need help with my hair. It's naturally wavy and very full. It's also EXTREMELY frizzy. Now, normally I straighten my hair, but its getting harder. You see, I am overweight and need to lose weight. And the only way to do this of course if to eat right and excersize. Well i dont like to excersize cuz when I do, I sweat..alot and working out everynight will make my hair smell by mid-week. So here's my dilema, I dont like to wash my hair, simply because of the fact that once I wash it, and it dries..its like "HOLY *****" and straightening it is WORSE! my hair always looks terrible when I straighten it for the first time since washing my hair. Is there anyway this can be helped? I'm sick of having Frizzy hair.

well I have somewhat of a problem myself I can help you by telling you to try different moisterizes to keep your hair healty and srtong this will tone down the frizzie ness, then go to a hairstylist recommended by a family member or friend, then see what they can do and one of the best things they can do is to thin it out with NO layers what so ever!! Its what I did and it helped oh so much, u should try!!

just do a normal routine. excercise during the day, start with 10 sit-ups then work your way up to 200 a day, take a shower at night, sleep with wet hair, get up in the morning, straighten it and put frizzease frizz spray in your hair in the morning and use frizzease shampoo and conditioner. good luck

i use pure shine frizz remedy its in a little clear bottle and i have a wet to straight straightner i turn it up all the way and it works like a charm.

also, have u just tried scrunching it with gell and hairspray?? that always looks cute and its way faster than straightening it..

hope i helped!

i asked a similar question and this is the answer i received. "I have naturally wavey hair and have to straighten it each morning. I use L'Oreal Hot Straight (it's in a bright pink bottle) When I have used this my hair will be straight all day and will literally only need the front lightly done the following morning, it will last all weekend." i'm going to try it, so you should too. :)

Hey,
Here's what you can do. Now, when you're working out spray some bath and body works spray. A good choice would be Warm french vanilla. As for the hair when you're straightening the hair, before you straighten your hair put on what's called "straightening gel". It will help a lot trust me. Also right after you're done taking a shower/bath put on a spray conditioner. I suggest that you put on Pantene ligth spray conditioner. It also smells good. You can find this product in Wal-mart in the hair section and it'll be in a whit spray bottle with gold designs on it.

Good Luck,

P.S. Please write me back and tell me how my advice helped and how it went.
