when he spends more time with her than he does with you.
when he has more cute nicknames for her than you.
basically, when she has more something than you do.

If he starts hianging out with her more than he does with you or if he talks about her a lot to you, istead of more important things. If you try to chang ehte subject on him and he keeps talking about her then it migh tbe on it's way to getting to far.

You can tell it's gone too far when you start feeling uncomfortable. Never stay in a relationship if you feel uneasy it's not worth it.

A good way to tell if their friendship has gone too far is if you start noticing his behavior towards you change when the other girl is around. If he acts differently towards you when she is around, then when you two are alone..then there might be something to worry about. If he is spending more time with her, than you, or if he calls or talks to her more than he talks to you..that is another way to tell. If he flirts with her, you might want to tell him about it, and see if he stops. If he doesn't stop, chances are he likes the girl.

When he spends time with her, more than he does with you.

When he calls her more than he calls you.

When he talks to her more than he talks to you.

When he acts all "lovey dovey" around her, hugging her alot, etc.

thats true, theres nothing wrong with him having best friends that are girls. hes obviously going to talk to [girl] friends online.. on the phone.. and hang out with them. thats all friendly.
however if he starts getting touchy-feely with them and tries to hide things from you, like about him hanging out with them at a party, then you should be aware. however you should always trust your boyfriend. im sure you dont need to worry because you would probably know about it.
