Question Posted Sunday September 25 2005, 11:39 pm
So some new neighbors just moved in a couple months ago. I am almost positive that he beats his wife. They have two young daughters. I have no actual evidence.
Is there anyone I could anonymously call to look into it?

If they don't act like they have been hurt then you could worry about the mother. If you want you can try to become friends with the two girls and that way you can see for yourself you go in the house what is going on. If you see him beating the mom up and leaving evidence on her that can prove he is abusive then you can call the police and tell them what you saw. That way not only are you telling them about the abuse but you can also tell them that there is evidence so they would have to take him away. I hope that I helped but if not you can visit me at my column. [ rosebud_01's advice column | Ask rosebud_01 A Question ]

I would call your local police and tell them the address of the people and why you think that there may be some foul-play going on. Everything remains anonymous, its not like grammar school where they go "Well so and so told me this and thaaaaaaat!". Good luck, its very kind of you to be worried about your neighbors. Ask if there if there is anything they can do and if not, ask if there is anyone that you can call that might be able to help. I don't think that there is, but if anyone would know, it would be your local police. [ cailoisa's advice column | Ask cailoisa A Question ]
