The say that you can get pregnant when you have your period. before you even think about getting on the pill you should talk to you doctor and let them know because they would probably test you and see. And yes if your on the pill there could be a risk to the baby.the only way you can be sure if your not pregnagnt is go to your doctor. hope I helped.

Yes, there's always a CHANCE that you'll get pregnant whenever you have sex. However, it is NOT LIKELY that you'll get pregnant while you're on your period. A period is a discharge of the uterus lining - something your body doesn't need because you're not pregnant. The lining helps protect, support and sustain a baby during pregnancy. However, when a sperm does not meet the egg, the uterus doesn't need a lining, so it sheds it. This is a period.

Because you were on your period, you'll not get pregnant (unless by some MIRACULOUS happening).

The pill terminates pregnancy - kills the baby. If you were to get pregnant, the pill would terminate (thus killing) the baby.

Just to be safe, get a home-pregnancy test from Wal*Mart, Kroger, Target or CVS. They're not always accurate, so if you show any signs of pregnancy, you might want to go to a doc.

Probably not, because you don't ovulate during your period. You ovulate about the 2 week between periods.

Yes you can get pregnant while on your period.

Yes taking the pill if your pregnant can do harm to the baby.

Take a home test or see your doctor before taking any more pills. Make sure you are not pregnant.

If you start your period...then you can go back on the pill. Do not have unprotected sex in the mean time.

You will also need to be on the pill for a while before it gets in your system. You may want to continue using a condom or other form of birth control for a month or so after you begin taking the pill. :)

When you have sex, regardless of whether or not you use a condom, or any other method of birth control, there is ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS a chance to become pregnant. Best way to find out is to take a pregnancy test. If in fact you are pregnant, you can hurt the baby by staying on the pill. So stop taking the pill for about a week. If you don't get your period by the expected date, take a pregnancy test. That's the ONLY way to know for sure.

EDIT: Don't listen to Sillyrob. Because Rob, is a dumbass. Rob, is not a chick. Rob, does not have a vagina, Rob has never visited a gynocologist, Rob knows nothing about becoming pregnant or women because Rob is ugly and probably can't get any.

GDROB answered Thursday September 22 2005, 3:34 pm:
If you used condoms then I would relax. If used right they will protect from pregnancy and everything else. If you did not, bad girl! the consequences can be pretty severe including pregnancy. I would not worry too much if condoms were used. If they were not and you are late then I would worry a lot and get a pregnancy test and think about your options. For now, do not worry until you notice a period is very late and never came.

Using the pill protects and does not harm you. I am not sure why you keep refering to a baby that may not even exist yet or in the future. Will it do something if there wasa pregnancy? That is a good question. I would think probably it would but to find out ask a medical professional.

It's rare for a person to get pregnant on their period, as that is when the egg leaves the body. It has already left the wall. A couple days after is REALLY rare, but if you have periods in spurts of like 7 days, you may be pregnant. And that Sunday may be possible, again, it depends on the length of time your period usually runs. And the pill is 99% effective, so yes you can be pregnant.
To be sure, go to the drugstore and get a pregnancy tester. They're cheap, and you just use it quickly. It'll tell you the results, and they are usually 99% accurate. Your period may come if you are pregnant, but that usually means that the child self aborted. And there is a danger if you keep on using the pill.
I think that answers all your questions. Any more, drop one in my inbox.
