i'm 13 f and i've never had a boyfreind in my life. never had a guy ask me out. never had a guy kiss me. nothing. it's not that i'm ugly or anything, i'm pretty i guess but def not like gorgeous and i'm not mean really and yeah. i guess i'm just not guy material? :( but i really really want a boyfriend and a first kiss. like it's driving me insane i can't help it! and a lot of my friends have had boyfreinds and idk about the kissing part. what is wrong with me? how can i make myself feel better about myself/ please help!!!!!

Okay. I will tell you right now that guys just seem to be totally blind to anything but certain girls until they reach a certain age. I was just like you. I didn't get my first boyfriend and first kiss till I was 14. I got in high school and it was like BAM! I've had 4 boyfriends since. It comes with time. And realize its not you. Boys are just very immature at this age, and you want older guys anyways. And when you're 13, well I wouldn't worry about not having a boyfriend. It's only a real horror story at 18. So relax, boys will notice you when you least expect it. And patience is always a must in these situations.

Been there, didn't get any boyfriends til 16. Boys in your age group are retards anyway, so you're not really missing out. TRUST ME, boys in that age group usually just date to so they can brag, they also take red marker to pads and throw them around the school, screaming and making a scene. Does that sound like a guy you want to waste your time with?
My personal opinion is don't worry about your dating relationship until you find a plethora of mature guys! You shouldn't even do that. Guys cause drama and fights among your friends, etc. Dating takes a chunk of responsibility and commitment and you're young! I often wish that I didn't even start seeing my bf, 'cuz I've had to give up my hobbies and give up time with my friends and so on.
Boyfriends aren't baaad, but I'm just saying don't rush it and don't worry.

boyfriends and kissing arent that big of a deal... im fourteen and ive never reallly kissed a guy but its fine with me and nobody really cares about that sort of thing. you dont have to have a boyfriend, just have guy friends and maybe one will like you and ask you out but you dont have to say yes just because you can say no. when you are thirteen it is hard to have a boyfriend cause you are completely dependant on other people if you want to see a movie or something cause your parents might not let you or something so wait til you're fifteen or sixteen to actually start worrying about that kind of thing!

The reason you have not had a boyfriend is not because you are ugly. It is because you are young. You have lots of time to have a boyfriend, trust me. Especially since guys mature more slowly than girls. The guys at your age are not quite into serious relationships yet, it will take them a few more years. Do not think that you're not "guy material". Do not make yourself head over heels gorgeous, do not try to change yourself, just so you can get guys. Guys don't go out of their way to be pretty and neither should you! Besides, that will only attract the guys that only want SEX. As for the kissing, you don't have to worry about it until it is happening, so chill and don't obsess. And just because your friends have had boyfriends...ugh...do I have to go into that thing about the jumping off the bridge? Please. You should make your OWN decisions.
