It happens about a day or so before, and sometimes throughout your period. It's when your emotions kind of run wild I guess you could say. They're probably just joking with you, not being serious, just their way of saying you're in a bad mood. [ S_C's advice column | Ask S_C A Question ]
darkblair771 answered Sunday September 18 2005, 4:00 am: it means premenstrual system and it is the symptoms before you get your period like beforegirls get their period they tend to get crabby because they get frustrated, pms has cramps in the stomach which hurt really badly and bloating and you cry easier and all that, it's not an insult [ darkblair771's advice column | Ask darkblair771 A Question ]
cynicalladvice answered Sunday September 18 2005, 2:04 am: PMS stands for Pre Menstural Syndrome, it's when your hormones are all out of wack before and during your period. The usual symptoms are moodswings, grumpy-ness, cramps, bloating, and tenderness, you may take it as an insult, it kinda depends on how they say it. Some girls/women have a tendency to get snippy, growly and mean right before they start their period.
They are probably joking around more than insulting you. They are saying basically that you are being a little cranky. :) [ karenR's advice column | Ask karenR A Question ]
