Question Posted Friday September 16 2005, 12:32 pm

I am having heartburn today - I think from my garlicly dinner last night. Any quick remedies I could use here at my office. I am stuck at work.

Best thing you can do if you are at work and can't get to a vhemist is drink a glass of MILK!

It a natural alkaline and neutralises anything acidic!!!

Hope it works!!!

this won't help you right now but when you're out go to the grocery store and buy apple cider vinigar. you only need like two teaspoons of it or a shot glass full but let me warn you this stuff is really tangy and the smell will make your mouth water. but it works better than any medication. my dad uses it in case you wanted to know how a 13year old knows this

Tums. They work really well, and always soothe my stomach.

Try some Tums or Rolaids. Most office secretaries usually have some for emergencies.
