Here's something I'm doing for my physics project now... You'll have to do a little research, but it will DEFINATELY impress the judges if you can show them this; it's junior level stuff! Basically, the idea is that you get a quartz crystal radio. This kind of radio doesn't use a battery or any other power source, it gets its energy from radio waves! If you tie a long copper (or gold if you can afford it) wire to it and connect it to a lightbulb or other device that uses minimal electric current, you can actually generate energy just from radio waves. That means you're creating power out of thin air! You could have a small scale version of it with a chart explaining interesting facts, like how long the wire would have to be to power, say, a small city. (It'd have to be huge, haha.) Anyways, this may not be what you wanna do, but maybe you'll like the idea. Good luck!

A good topic would be on air pressure, how does air pressure affect certain objects, use cans,an egg,a bottle, test, keep water inside the upside down cup.Another one would be which battery would las the longest, for this project you will study, how its power can be increased, learn it's structure, and try finding all the different types of batteries on the market or other stores where they sell electronics.Or which lawn sprinkler is the best, compare all types of lawn sprinklers, make a model of it,and design it.Pick which ever one you decide you're more into want to do.
