Okay my boyfriend and I had sex a couple of times. I was a virgin when we first had sex. Okay, it hurt when it first went in then after awhile it stopped. The next day there wasn't any blood. None of the times we had sex there was no blood, so what does this mean my cherry didn't pop, or if he does it harder will I bleed?
Additional info, added Sunday September 11 2005, 8:13 pm: Okay, yes I want it to bleed because I want him to know that I am his and his only. Yes he did go slow, and when he went deep one time, it hurt so bad but felt good although I didn't bleed.. Want to answer more questions in the Sexual Health and Reproduction category? Some people don't bleed at all, most have a few drops on the sheets, and some bleed lightly for the next few hours. Blood is not proof of virginity.
A guy, if he really respects and values you, should believe you if you say you are a virgin. If you feel a need to prove yourself, that might mean that you don't think your boyfriend trusts you.
Hymens/cherries are not thick layers of skin which actually 'pop'. Most women have at least partially lost their hymens naturally by their mid-teens. Your body is normal, you have nothing to worry about, and you certainly don't need to prove your okay-ness to anyone else. [ alisonmarie's advice column | Ask alisonmarie A Question ]
jenymca answered Monday September 12 2005, 8:21 pm: Some people don't bleed, it's just the way it goes. Some people pop it if they are very active (if you are in sports that'd explain it) but if it hasnt happened now I doubt it ever well. Sorry. And if you're boyfriend doesnt believe you are his one and only than you've got the wrong guy. [ jenymca's advice column | Ask jenymca A Question ]
karenR answered Sunday September 11 2005, 10:03 pm: If it didn't bleed it isn't going to. Contrary to popular belief it just doesn't always happen.
More than likely because women today are a lot more active than in days gone by. :) [ karenR's advice column | Ask karenR A Question ]
MummuM answered Sunday September 11 2005, 8:11 pm: Don't worry about this at all, hun. You're normal. Not all girls bleed, some do, while some don't. You might have even popped your Cherry already. You can pop it by doing many things such as: riding a bike, inserting a tampon, horse back riding, getting fingered, etc. If you want more information about your Hymen (Cherry) check out the following website: [Link](Mouse over link to see full location)
