Question Posted Tuesday September 6 2005, 7:57 pm

I am having constant headaches. Basically every day I need to take medicine. I usually take 2 excederin a day. I am 14 and I have been having these headaches for a month or 2. My period has just ended and I'm still getting them. I get stressed easily, and I listen to music regularly. I get them during the end of school and at night. If i tell my parents I want to go to the doctor they will probably just say I'm fine. Should I be seeing a doctor? Is this normal? What should I do? Thank you so very much.

From what you say I don't believe they are migranes. You should see a doctor. They can diagnose the medication you may need to recover. Stop taking excedrin everyday! You are building up an immunity to it, so it doesn't work as well any more.

Those are called constant migranes. You would want to see a doctor, particularly a neurologist, to find out the cause of them. The cause can be many things, but some are serious and need medical attention.
