uhm could go under two categories
Some of my friends and I are trying to start a field hockey club for young girls ages 6-11 to make a little extra money. However, I am having some problems. How can I get people to know about this and come? My town doesn't have a rec team for it only school teams (the school teams are for 6th grade and up so these girls won't be on them). Next problem is sticks. Should we buy sticks for the girls? Should we make them bring their own? Should we rent the school's sticks? How can we get the money if we were to buy/rent sticks? Would it be wrong to ask people to donate money when we would be making a profit? Lastly, how much should we charge the girls? We would supply balls, mouth guards, and snacks. Oh and we will ask for them to bring there own cleets (sp?) and sin guards. Thanks in advance.

Since the girls are in the 6-11 range, it's unlikely that they'll have much money. You might want to take that into consideration when charging a fee.
Generally club members will already be interested in field hockey and have their own equipment. It would be a nice gesture to have a few spares around in case someone is new to the sport or forgot their equipment at home.
If you plan on playing against other teams, perhaps you can approach some local businesses and ask them if they would consider sponsoring your team. If you put their business name on the team shirts, they're getting advertising. Other options include bake sales and car washes.
One thing you need to make sure to do is print up some forms stating that you are not responsible for any injuries. Have the girls and their parents sign this form and make it a rule that no one can play without the signed form. Otherwise if someone gets injured, YOU will be responsible for paying the medical bills.
To promote your club, I would put up posters at school and in sporting goods stores. Make sure to ask first so you don't get in trouble.

Well I think that you should rasie some money before you think about anything else right now. Maybe you could hold a bake sale at your school. You could also:
Have a car wash
Walk dogs
Babysit
Do choris at your house
Do yard work (Like mow and rake ect.)
Have a garge sale
Save lose change that you find around the house
Make crafts and sell them
So with my advice make money then depending on how much money you have then start thinking about what you should supplie and what they should bring.
Ihope that everything works out great and that you make enough money. Oh yeah! About telling people about it, do that after you get money. About that though you could make a bunch of singns and put them up around school and town. Then whatever it is that you do to get money give people singns as them come speard the news alittle!

the girls should pay 30 dollars per head.and also dont ask 4 donations if is for you only.that money will help with snacks,and ball and mouth gaurds.the girls should bring their own stick or give you extra money to bbuy them sticks
