Do you think he likes me?
=/ I suck at reading guys' actions, so.....
1) He sits next to my best friend in my Social Studies Class. So one day before class, I went over to talk to her, and he jumped, yes JUMPED up and RAN, yes, SPRINTED across the room, and started talking to his friend. Matter of fact, he practically leaves everytime I come near. I'm not mean to him or anything, and we get along well (just got aquainted about 2 1/2 weeks ago)
2) When I come late into class, he stares. Like the other day, I came in late, and he looked at me for about 5 minutes while I was explaining to the teacher.
3) He'll only talk to me if I say something to him. I don't think this means anything--a lot of my friends say he does that anyways.
=/ And he has a girlfriend. Or should say "groupie". She's VERY obsessed with him. I think he just gave in, (they were friends) and was too nice to know.
What do you guys think?

its one of two things..he either has a HUGE crush on you, or the complete opposite! different guys react differnt ways to girls they like so I dont know exactly what hes thinking! i would just talk to him and ask him whats going on, do you like me, etc.! good luck!! [♥]

It sounds to me like he does like you. He just might be running away from you because he might be afraid to do something stupid in front of you, so he's trying to keep his distance, or he's just plain nervous. And the staring.. guys tend to do that sometimes.. i don't know why ; they just do. I would try getting one of your friends to go and talk to him and see if he likes you. Or maybe try asking one of his friends. If he does like you (if you like him), I would say go for it! Because if he knows that you like him, then maybe'll he'll dump his girlfriend or "groupie" or w/e and then you two can date! If you don't like him, then just whenever you talk to him, try not to do anything that might come off as flirting or w.e and just try and hint to him that you guys are friends and only that. This is hard to predict, as you cannot really judge from 3 things, but I think he may have a bit of a crush on you. He's avoiding because he is afraid it may develop into something else if he talks to you consistantly.
Though the staring is normal for guys. I'd know, being one. That part really means nothing. He can't help it.
If I were you, I wouldn't worry about it. Let things happen. Most likely, you won't have to worry until after he leaves his present girlfriend.

If he's avoiding you, Obviously he's nervous when you come around and he probably has no Idea what to say to you first. Thats probably why you have to say something first so then he can think up an easy answer. He likes you. It's quite clear. Guys think like girls sometimes. Your no different when it comes to crushes! Staring for long periods of time, running away from you when your near him, him being quiet around you unless you speak to him first. Are all signs! Do you like him back? Ask yourself that. Guys tend to have small crushes on girls even when they do have a girlfriend. Maybe he gave into his " groupie over obsessed girl" because he was too scared to ask you out, or waiting for YOU to ask him out since he maybe figured that him staring at you would lead you on to him believing he liked you. Thats it! Your being crushed on! Good luck crushing or not crushing back!

Well he definitely thinks of you alot. My guess would be yes, he likes you. But make sure hes not a jerk. If he has a girlfriend already then he shouldn't be making it so clear that he has a crush on you, since well, he is, making it very clear that he likes you. So just talk to him, or sometimes boys feel more comfortable talking online or on the phone.
