if you take a layout, and remove the code/are that says "made by such and such" that is like stealing the layout for yourself, thats jocking.
if you take a layout, and you still have the "made bye whomever" then your ok, thats not jocking.

jocking is taking credit for someone elses work.like if you edit the code or something. and saying oo i made this layout when you didnt if you just copy and paste the code and NOT edit it then your fine

Jocking is stealing. If you use a layout and claim it as your own, this is jocking. Or if you claim that is your own layout (i.e. you made it etc.) and try and give it to other people, this too is jocking. All you have to do is link back to the site where you got your layout and don't remove anything on the layout that says "copyright of..." or something of that nature. If you're doing those two things, you're fine.

Jocking means stealing. It can mean either using the layout and removing the links that go back to the layout site, or giving out the layout as if you made it.

As long as you link back and you don't try to claim it as your own, you should be fine.

All it means is that you can't take out the thing at the top that gives credit to the maker. Most xanga users dont even know how to do that. Don't worry about it as long as you don't change the code, nothing bad will happen. They can't really do anything to you if you do take out their credited name except put your user name in their xanga. Don't worry about it.
