I'm in middle school, but I'm kinda bright for my age, so I'm taking Algebra, advanced science, a Seminar in which we'll be doing things like debates, Animal Farm (great book), and an essay on the Sneetches (don't ask), and I'm also in an advanced English class. Can somebody tell me advice for how I can finish all my homework on time and still spend at least an hour or two on the computer? Thanks!
GoodAdviceGiver05 answered Monday August 22 2005, 1:38 pm: Well not All the time do u have homework in all your classes sometimes you do and sometimes you dont. So right after school you should start to do your homework then you might have some extra time for the computer it all depends on what homework you have for that day. sbloemeke answered Sunday August 21 2005, 5:51 pm: Well, if you really want a lot of time on the computer, I suggest starting homework in class. I'm not being "Smartass" or anything here, but serious. I usually get my homework period one and work on it period two. It helps with math and written homework. The rest is done at home.
Hope this helps!

pinksoccersox answered Sunday August 21 2005, 3:46 pm: it really shouldn't be that big of a problem. wait until you get into high school and take a bunch of AP classes then ask how to finnish your homework. to make extra time try studdying and doing homework during lunch. do your work as soon as you get home. the best advice I can give you is not to stress you. you're only in middle school. these grades won't count towards any thing. colleges won't look at them. at most they will be used to determine your classes in high school. but missing one home work assignment won't kill you! find some thing better to do then spending an hour or two on the computer. play sports. getting good grades isn't every thing! believe me. I was exactly like you in middle school. now I'm taking 4 AP classes, playing soccer, swimming, running cross country, running an ROTC unit, coaching, random girl scout things, taking SAT courses. middle school advanced courses really aren't some thing to be worried about! you don't have to be perfect! have as much fun as you can before high school! ballerina04 answered Sunday August 21 2005, 12:36 pm: When you get home from school, start your homework right away. Even if it's a lot, finish one thing, take a five minute break, and so on. It shouldn't be very hard to get everything done, as long as you don't sit and watch TV or take extremely long breaks. [ ballerina04's advice column | Ask ballerina04 A Question ]
rockergurl36 answered Sunday August 21 2005, 12:33 pm: Well if you have a study hall, use that. Also if you finish lunch early, work on it then. But do easy homework during lunch so you can still socialize. Then maybe on the bus/car/ whatever you get to and from school in.
Then just in other classes where you have extra time.
good luck! [ rockergurl36's advice column | Ask rockergurl36 A Question ]
DancinCutie08 answered Sunday August 21 2005, 11:12 am: well the first thing to do is not sit when your doing your hr and be like if i finish this now i can go on earlier. your acually just sorta wasting time. also try to get some of your hw done in school or on the way home. if you have sometime is the morning go on while your eating breakfast or something so you wont be as mad if yuo dont have time to go on later [ DancinCutie08's advice column | Ask DancinCutie08 A Question ]
thinkpink03 answered Sunday August 21 2005, 10:02 am: I was like you, last year I took Algebra in 7th grade and all my other clases were advanced. I had a lot of homework so what i did was when i came home i started my homework. I got a snack and something to drink and just got going. I tried to focus on my homework and some good things that would happen after. like tlaking to my friends on the phone or IM or a good TV show that was coming on. It made me keep in mind the faster I finished the sooner I could do those things. Dont cram it all in and put down random answers just to finish, do the work well but dont spend too much time on a question. If you dont get it save it until your done or for later when your parents or someone can help you.
soccerplayer5674 answered Sunday August 21 2005, 8:38 am: yea I do the same exact things exept seminar? we don't have that in my school and this is what i do, you do the homework but don't finish it all and wake up early in the morning to finish it if you can wake up, and if its ok with teachers and everything you can do some of it in study hall or lunch maybe? only if you're allowed
