Dickies Brand

Question Posted Sunday August 14 2005, 8:51 pm

I like some of the clothing from the Dickies brand but i know like if you wear something from volcom and you dont like skate your a poser. So i dont want to be a poser to everyone cuz no one will talk to me. My style is kinda punk rockish. I get kinda overwhelmed cuz its like im supose to walk into the store knowing what all these brands are.

So can i wear the dickies brand and all?
And what does it stand for?

I don't think people will not talk to you because of what you're wearing. Wear whatever you want!

of course. you should wear whatever you feel like wearing. it doesn't matter, because a lot of people don't really believe in that poser stuff. whatever you feel comfortable wearing you should. go for it.

-hope that helped

It seems difficult to be in a world where you are criticized for something as ridiculous as the clothing you wear. However, we are in a world like that, and it is difficult to deal with. Although you aren't supposed to care what anyone else thinks, it is human instinct to be offended and embarrased, and that can happen if no one talks to you. As for wearing the clothes, it's up to you in the end. The best thing to do would probably be to wear some of the dickies clothing, but without showing it off, that way you are wearing what you want and people won't think you are trying to make a statement. You can also search online for clothing that is quite similar to the dickies clothing, but has a different brand name. This way, you are wearing the style that you like and also starting an individual trend. I started wearing a new type of clothing once, and it made me a total individual. Happy shopping!
