Just do something simple ; don't go and get something expensive cause I mean you've only dated him for a small amount of time. If he has a favorite sports team, maybe get him a hat or a jersey or a cute idea would be make him a CD of all the songs that remind you of him so he can listen to it whenever you are gone and write like a little message on the CD that says like," I miss you so much! Sorry I'm not here for your birthday =( Well happy birthday and whenever you miss me, listen to this =) Love, ____ " ( or something like that ) cause it shows you are thinking about him and you care for him and make him a little hand-made card cause that shows you put personal thoughts and feelings into it and that you care alot. Just think about things he likes. Maybe even talk to his friends ( if you talk to them ) and see what he likes and what they are getting him to get any other ideas. Oh and another maybe is get him some nice cologne ( if you want cheap stuff, most guys use like Axe and Old Spice and stuff like that.. I really don't know many men's colognes and stuff ) =)I hope I helped!

Love,
MELii

it depends what he likes. if he's a big sports fan get him like his fav fball team's jersey er shirt er hoodie er something. it really depends on what he likes. it's really the thought that counts.

good luck!

you could get him a t-shirt of his fave band which isnt thoughtful but its fun. but for the thoughtful part, i think you should MAKE him a card. make a poem or find one for him and write it in the card. or you should do both. that way it a thoughtful AND fun gift!
